My awesome birthday limericks from Elaine!
A nerdy biology limerick!
There once was an environmental scientist named Tamara
Who landed in California like a samara.
There she studied the birds
Til she became quite the nerd
And they gathered about her like remora.for those that needed it (like me):
samara = "an indehiscent, usually one-seeded winged fruit"
remora = "marine fishes with a flattened elongated body
and a sucking disk on the head for attaching to large fish
or moving objects"A wushu oneThere once was a woman named Tami,Whose 'strong your eye' made foes' palms go clammy.None dared stand in her wayWhen there was hell to payBecause with one punch she could deliver a double whammy.A friendly one! There once was a woman named Tami,Whose friendship made those around her quite happy. With her listening earAnd her wisdom so clearShe made everyone feel like family.
And one to grow on!I have a great friend I call Tams.
She and I have similar dams.
Though we don't talk enough,
She's always there when it's rough,
I am so glad she's my friend, yes I yams!I
Elaine!
